Yesterday we went to the Oakland Metro to check it out. This place
rocks! It is an old opera house with wooden bleachers a big dance
floor and one bar. There is lots of parking around the club and
a parking garage at Jack London Square right across the street.
This is Savage productions first show with the Metro and the only
rock show in town. It is not far from where the old Kixs club use
to be. Like I said this place ROCKS! We have a great line up of
bands this show will be awesome! For more info check the TOUR
page.

PUSH ACCUSED
OF SHUTTING DOWN A BRAND NEW CLUB IN Antioch California
PUSH
was accused of permanently shutting down The Archive Club for
the use of pyrotechnics on their November 22, 2003 show. Star
quoted - "It is standard for PUSH to use pyrotechnics in our
shows and we always use Safe N Sane with protection... and yes
we have seen Great White". The owner of the
venue (Matt Hoffman) said he was not notified in anyway that
PUSH would use pyro during their show. On November 24, 2003
The Archive
was reported to the Antioch Fire Department for the use of
Pyrotechnics. It then turns out the club was operating illegally
and had no permits to run a night club at all. It was because
of that the Archive was permanently shut down. Star quoted again
"If I knew the venue owner turned out to be such a fat bastard
I would have burned the mother fucker down!"
